I think it's a trend that most young people today, those without a business background, that is, choose a green card, a multinational, a foreign bank, the services, in that order, as career options. The need for safety and security, the desk-averseness is so strong that at times they pass up other exciting career options. Perhaps this attitude is fostered by a society, in which, unlike in America, failure bears a stigma. Also, for an investor, failure is more than a social stigma, an unsuccessful person becomes a credit risk. A potential investor gets jumpy and the unsuccessful first-time entrepreneur does not easily get a second chance.
