For an entrepreneur an idea is a speck, a spore, a word, a thought that grows to become a substantial business proposition.
The ideation process is the sighting and collecting of these
floating specks and spores. The planting of them is the development
of the business, the nurturing is the consolidation and the harvesting
is the end result of the exercise.
The concept, development and proliferation of
the internet continues to fascinate me. It was
created out of a need to share. Much of its
sharing did not have commerce at its roots,
that is where perhaps the strength of the internet
lies.
